Vanport Warehousing, Inc. is happy to announce that we have joined Twitter and Facebook! Please follow us and stay up-to-date with all of the latest news. As always, we look forward to hearing from you!

Last month, our distribution managers attended a customer’s annual Regional Replenishment Center meeting. At this meeting, representatives from warehouses all over the US assembled to receive prestigious awards presented to only a select few.

Our Addison, Illinois facility received the grand esteemed trophy, Best Inventory Score for 2010, which we’re honored to accept considering the tough competition of our impressive peers. Additionally, the Illinois facility received a Superior Safety Record plaque and another award for Exceeding Inventory Damage Goals.

The Southern California facility also received a Superior Safety Record plaque and Exceeding Inventory Damage Goals award, along with several others — including Exceeding First-In/First-Out (FIFO) Goals, meaning that we cycle out the oldest product before the newer product, and Most Improved Performance for 2010.

We believe the awards are a testament to our top quality operations.
